One is a song by Irish rock band U2, sung by frontman Bono. It is the third track from the 1991 album Achtung Baby, released as a “benefit single” in 1992, with all profits and proceeds from the song going to AIDS research. The record has often been acclaimed by critics and record surveys as one of the best records ever recorded. In 2003, a special edition issue of Q, “1001 Best Songs Ever,” named "One" the greatest song of all-time. You can decide for yourself.
